Yuzzu wants to incorporate the agility mindset in his DNA. Our Agile coach helps at team, leadership and organisational/culture level. He also introduced personal coaching sessions. The result is a more efficient & effective organisation.

Challenge

Yuzzu has several teams working within an Agile framework.

  • Helping these teams gain even more maturity with close support on the specific roles and team dynamics
  • Facilitating the team alignment and issue resolution when needed
  • Adapting the leadership posture to better support the teams
  • Changing the culture and mindset to promote even more continuous improvement

  • Helping an EXCO member on daily challenges and strategic & organisational thinking (culture, yearly objectives, ...)
  • Supporting and making people grow in their role: training, hands-on daily examples, mentoring, close follow-up & detailed feedback sessions (focus on Product Owner & Scrum Master)
  • Ad-hoc cross team workshops & retrospectives
  • Issue detection and actions
  • Creation of an environment where people are willing to evolve and to get coached based on their own initiative
  • Helping the employees to have a better performance in their role and to have a better well-being (people retention)

The Agile Coach, Olivier, has been providing an invaluable help to Yuzzu in his role. Thanks to his help, we were able to have mature and high performing teams despite having several junior team members. New ways of working have been introduced, and employee satisfaction has increased.

Coaching on every level

  • 1 EXCO member coached & mentored (4h/week):
    • Personal improvements (posture, goal setting, ...)
    • Feedback culture put in place
    • Yearly individual objectives mainly moved to team objectives (3 teams, several team objective workshops conducted), increased retrospection and better objectives
    • Clarity and evolution of the delegation to the IT middle management with authority boards
  • 1 Business Analyst trained, mentored and coached to transition to the role of Product Owner (15+ team members)
  • 1 Developer trained, mentored and coached to transition to the role of Scrum Master (15+ team members)
  • All the Scrum Masters are followed up closely
  • Team merger & creation workshops
  • Several “demining” sessions and working agreements successfully conducted in context of strong personal disagreements
  • Improvement of the hiring process & onboarding of new employees
