Jira & Confluence training for a Scaled Agile Transformation

Context

In response to rapidly changing customer behaviours and heightened competition in digital commerce, the organisation initiated a customer-centric organisational transformation to remain competitive and establish itself as a market leader. As part of this initiative, Wemanity collaborated with the client to design a comprehensive training program, equipping employees with new ways of working. Alongside this, Wemanity provided coaching for multiple tribes across both IT and business functions. A key component of this program focused on mastering Jira and Confluence through tailored training sessions for different personas.

Activities

  • Step 1: Co-Creation of the Learning Path
    • Conducted co-creation sessions by persona with HR sponsors, the CDO, and the internal agile coach.
    • Deliverable: Customized learning paths for each persona (Leadership, Value Stream Owners, RTE, Epic Owners, Scrum Masters, Product Owners).
  • Step 2: Design
    • Developed educational materials, including inspirational videos, case studies, and quizzes.
    • Deliverable: Integration of learning materials into the client’s LMS.
  • Step 3: Pilot
    • Tested a course for each persona with a pilot group and refined content based on feedback.
  • Step 4: Deployment and Measurement
    • Rolled out training sessions progressively throughout the year based on organizational needs.
  • Focus on Jira & Confluence:
    • Designed and facilitated half-day sessions tailored to each persona to enhance mastery and optimize the use of Jira and Confluence.

Key results

  • 200 personnes participants trained in Jira and Confluence.
  • Average participant satisfaction : 4/5.
